Caption Text Caption text is a short text that is above, below or in the image as a complement to the image. Many people think that captions are the same as quotes, even though they are different. Quotes are usually just text without pictures but can also include pictures. The difference between a caption and a quote is that a quote is a quote that is usually taken from a book, song or dialogue in a film and is accompanied by the name of the author.
